FIFA 12: Rooney Lauds Instalment 'Best FIFA Ever'
England ace gears up for new instalment, as first details land.
EA Sports frontman Wayne Rooney's hailed FIFA 12 the "best FIFA game ever", following the first details leak before the weekend.
According to rough translations of the French Official PlayStation Magazine, FIFA 12's feature list includes an 'Impact Engine' which realistically tracks player contact and injuries, plus "more human" player AI.
Rooney wrote on Twitter: "Filming new TV ad for FIFA 12 end of this month. Trust me this will be best FIFA game ever."
The footballer added that Xbox is his preferred platform for the footy sim as "I think it's much better".
Further details in OPM France pointed to a "more developed" Personality Plus feature for the new game and "new presentation" of matches.

FIFA 12 New Gameplay Screenshot Revealed
EA lifts the lid off new instalment.
Slowly but surely EA is lifting the lid off of FIFA 12, kicking off with some new screenshots of this year's footy instalment, including the first look at the new default gameplay view.
FIFA 12's big features include a new Impact System that creates realistic reactions when players collide on the field, so as expected the screens show Arshavin and co getting up close and jostling for the ball.
The list of features this year also includes old favourites such as the career mode and various online modes. Player stories and match-day atmosphere were added to that list by EA Sports earlier this year.

FIFA 12 New Gameplay
EA Sports is hard at work on FIFA 12, and has detailed some of the improvements you can expect to see when the game releases later this year.
They have improved lot in graphics details, set pieces & AI. Set pieces are getting a complete overhaul, and that EA isn't happy with interruptive in-game loading screens.
Set-pieces are still a bit lame & we get frustrated by not being able to do quick throw-ins, not being able to quickly select our free-kick takers, on the fly stuff. We're somewhat last-gen in the way the game cuts.
The FIFA series is headed in more thematic terms - addressing the developer's wish to add more "soul" into proceedings.
Those moments where you take one player his old club and the boo boys come out, or his old team are more aggressive in the tackle towards him. So you think: 'Wow! FIFA understands not just the game of football, but the sport and passion behind it.
